Quick insert recent links

When you want to add a link using the (Gutenberg) popup, you first need to search a link by typing. This becomes cumbersome when you want the same link each time and edit many posts. What if you could open a dropdown on clicking the searchbox with top 5 or 10 recently used links? That would be more convenient.
